Patchwork Cleveland

Patchwork Cleveland is a mural I hand-painted and on a highway overpass, visible only from the pedestrian path and adjacent train line. Created as part of INTER | URBAN, a public art initiative produced by LAND studio with regional partners, the work draws from quilt patterns and the language of patchwork. The quilt—an emblem of slow, quiet handwork—appears to hold up the city above, suggesting that what sustains urban life is often unseen: the labor, care, and craft made by many hands.
